Getting Started Tutorial
Follow these three simple steps to get your account set up and ready to go.

Step 1: Use the Dashboard
- On the dashboard, you can update your username by clicking 'Edit Username'. Your username is required to sign model release forms.
- To create a model release form, click 'Create New Form'.
- Click 'My Forms' to view your model releases.

Step 2: Create a New Model Release Form
- You can select from several standard templates for your forms.
- Need a custom template in a specific language or format? Email us at info@bentid.com, and we will upload it for your account.

Step 3: Complete the Form
The model release form has the following required fields:
- Party One Username: This is you, the creator. The field automatically displays your BentID Username.
- Party Two Username: The person who will sign the form (e.g., your model).
- Date of Event: The date of the photoshoot or event.
- Style of Photoshoot: A free text field to describe the style (e.g., artistic, glamour).
- Description of Event: Be as detailed as possible in the description of the photoshoot.
- License Purpose: For example, commercial use, private use only, TFP, etc.
- Commercial Scope: Explain where you plan to use the content, such as a specific website or for general web sales.
- Compensation: The amount paid to Party Two.
- Witness: If a witness was present, add their BentID username.
When the form is signed, it collates the information and creates a cryptographic hash. This hash can be used by any open-source service to verify the form's authenticity and validity.
